Something Very Interesting is Coming Up!

Since my exams are coming over, I have had to keep and maintain a certain distasteful silence for the past two weeks or so. I have been keeping in touch with a lot of academic material that is eerily hungry for synthesis as of now. A series of posts on a paper that I have been writing will be up on the blog sooner than you think it will - and this time, the emphasis is all on Economics. Beginning from classicists to collectivist anarchism, from Keynesian economics to Marxist vision of parliamentary politics - this is something I have been looking forward to since a really, really long time. Stay tuned!

Three Muslim Women Who Would Shatter Your Ideas of Islamophobia (In Less Than 30 Minutes!)

1.Maysoon Zayid

Born in New Jersey, Maysoon Zayid is a comedian and actress of Palestinian descent. Words would cease to describe the powerful, lively, wonderful woman she is! She is by far one of the best stand-up comedians I have come across till date. She is live proof of what empowerment might look at its best forms. This video should shatter your adaptiveness to Islamophobia in less than 15 minutes!

2.Anusheh Anadil

Anusheh Anadil is a woman who lives her life through the work she does and the cause she promotes. Unlike the PopXO and iDiva videos that showcase women performers who talk about baseless, blatant individualism for no reason at all, and promotes the Asian philosophy of unification of one's soul with that of the collective unit of existence instead.
Anusheh is one brilliant woman who knows how to relate the concepts of music, philosophy, and existence and live it far more brightly than exhibiting the superficial part of it.

3.Farzana Wahid Shayan

Shayan sings in Bengali but the words in between have (thankfully) been spoken in English, which should allow a lot of people to realise the basic essence of philosophy in her words.

Gregory Alan Isakov : The Underrated Torchbearer of Meaning in Music?

It began with 'The Universe'. It could be a rainy evening, resonating to the tidal glory of clouds and an open verandah that rang the memories of lost wind chimes and tattered pages of old, yellow books. It rained even harder that night. Rain - in the eastern part of this country is yellower than blue. The streaks of dust and glory impregnate times that do not fit into hours. The child now borne out of nowhere, reminds you of home, of lost gardens, a paradise and a messiah's footsteps in the dark. It rained throughout the night, and the next morning - you could still hear the song whisper in your ears as often as it wanted to, touch your waistline, wrap its arms around you, ring like an anklet on your right foot and then, like old afternoons of the bygone times, lay next to you in complete stillness.

That lavish, luxurious feeling of depth never left anytime sooner. Not that it was supposed to, either.
The next time you would come across the essence of homecoming, hiraeth and ignore the precedence of past into the categorisation of sheer absurdity, 'If I Go, I'm Going' could be the
next song you have met.

And if something has to strike the final blow, it would be 'Amsterdam' and 'The Big Black Car'.'The Empty Northern Hemisphere', 'The Weatherman' and 'The Sea, That Gambler' are albums that would look like old photo albums out of a navigator's long-lost chest at sea now revealed to the rest of the world to take a look at.

But the deal is that enough time is paid during each listen. These are not the kind of highly sold albums in the market for a beaming audience to dance to for a good 45 minutes. This would take time to settle, sediment and change colour. Make sure you pay attention when you listen

A Neurotic's Delirium (2)

নাজিম হিকমেটের "I love you,like waking up at night with high fever and drinking water with tap in my mouth" মনে এলো একবার।
আচ্ছা, "Where do all these highways go now that we are free?"

Free Verse Scribbles : Cartographer's Dreams

'Nightfall on the Thames' by John Atkinson Grimshaw, 1880
(Photograph Source)

Night, like a whisper
Slips down the hair
To the curve of the bosom
To the knees
And the path below
That grows out into foliage
And antique caves
As old as time.

The creak of a door
Or the gravitating musings
Of the solidarity
Of footsteps in the dark
The clamour of dishes
The unsaid words
Turn up like swings in the hold
Of a lovely summer breeze

Another winter is crawling below
The doorsteps of a decade
Another call is hanging low
In the gardens of the shore
Where the earnest winds
Weave wallpapers in rain
And sadistically cross each other's path

A cosmic show grows old
Galactically - as in lover's

What Can Happen with Our Economy in the Future? : Guest Article by Stephanus Malan and Joshua Robinson

What Can Happen with Our Economy In The Future?

While the economy can be very difficult to forecast, due to the continual fluctuation of the stock market and varying factors that affect economic growth and fall. According to research, there are many predictions of what may happen to the future economy of the United States of America. There are many theories and economic predictions currently circulating around American economists. Regarding an economic forecast of the American economy, there are predictions which include the following:

An economic boom followed by an economic crash

It is predicted by the Federal Reserve that the economic growth which is measured by gross domestic product will fall between the ranges of 2 and 2.4 percent every year until the year 2018, falling perfectly in the ideal scope of 2 to 3 percent. However, many workers have now dropped out of the labor force throughout the recession and these people have not returned. Furthermore, that the Federal Reserve has not incorporated the policies set by Donald Trump’s promise of boosted growth into consideration yet. Trump has promised a 4 percent boost in growth which will dramatically trigger a “boom and bust cycle”. If growth is to hit that level, it is very likely that a recession could be created by the year 2018 or later.

The possible collapse of the US dollar

Currently, the weakness of the US in comparison to the euro and the large amount of debt that has been racked up by the US government places the country at a greater risk of seeing it’s economic collapse. Currently, the US dollar is used more throughout the world than the euro, hence it still remains fairly strong. However, if another currency such as a cryptocurrency were to become a popular form of exchange instead of the US dollar, there is a likelihood that the US dollar may eventually collapse. Finally, if a huge event occurs, which destroys the worlds confidence in the US dollar, an upcoming failure and crash of the American currency can be expected.

A growth in federal debt

In the year 2017, the US debt has now exceeded over twenty trillion dollars. With Trump's current policies that are in place, an increase of approximately 5.3 trillion dollars can be expected. Ultimately this will result in government spending cuts and thus it will negatively affect the people of the United States.

American inflation will be controlled

As oil prices now slowly begin to reach a normal range, fears of hyperinflation are being raised throughout the US. However, the Federal Reserve is currently and actively vigilant about ensuring the reversal of quantitative easing and increasing the rate of federal funds as necessary. A huge part of this job is managing the public’s expectations of inflation. This will keep core inflation at a rate below, or at 2 percent. The cost of living for the average American can be expected to be at the same level as it is in today’s current economic climate.

An increase in American jobs

It is believed that production within America will be returning soon. Resources and productions such as fuels, chemical, and cars are all expected to move back to American shores in the future. For example, the US production of oil has nearly surpassed that of Saudi Arabia. It implies a positive impact on the job market and economy of the united states.

About Me (Updated)

My name is Titas, and I would go by the untraditional weirdo genre as far as norms are concerned.I was born on 15th June 1999 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

I am passionate about Social Sciences, Maths, Economics, Literature and Philosophy.Politically, I would define myself to be a left-leaning freethinker.
I started this blog when I was fourteen years, three months, eighteen days old on 3rd October 2013.Besides academics, I am interested in music, photography and intense travelling.
I passed my CBSE Class X board examinations with a CGPA 10  and secured the 23rd place in my state in the Higher Secondary examinations conducted by WBCHSE in 2017 before I began my university life at one of the best universities in the country right now - the Department of Economics at Jadavpur University.

By June 2015, a few artists (musicians, basically) had started following @blogperspective on Twitter. There was no stopping ever since then. The Perspectives consists of contributions by Noam Chomsky, several other scholars, and philosophers, a bunch of richly written guest articles, and is followed by Grammy winners to leaders, magazines, show hosts, actors, and authors - and even an Academy Award-nominated artist! The blog has now been read across 188 countries in over 90 major languages.

I have contributed at The London Economic, Youth Ki Awaaz, Anarchimedia and am currently an intern at The London School of Economics and Political Science - LSE and Global Daily Tribune.

Going by the Meyer Briggs Jung test, I represent an INTP-T.

Find Us on Youth Ki Awaaz (YKA)!

It has been 5 months since we have been contributing articles at YKA. But it has only been in recent times that the readers are responding really well to our content (unfortunately the articles have gone up with my name in the author's place; whereas, I am the mere typewriter typing stuff faster than most of the population out there) and we have been asked multiple times by the administrative team to keep contribute.

In order to keep our confidence level fairly high, kindly head to this link, read our articles and kindly keep the share pace to 100+ (Otherwise in this era of hoaxes and "The Times", we would not be able to leave the slightest impression anywhere).

The next article should be up soon!

If you want me to write about a special cause - say about the distress small businessmen and manufacturers around Leh are having to go through or the condition of meat-sellers after Yogi Adityanath and his followers' mega-rant about the "the Hindu Shastra" and the impact of "why to rape Muslim women by bringing them back from their graves" in the twenty-first century, at the heart of "the largest democracy in the world".
If you would like to keep your identity hidden from the public or would like to write under a pen name, you are welcome. We will ensure your safety before our own, and we will make sure your voice is heard.

Until next time, stay tuned!

Queries Solved : 'Asleep In The Valley', 'The Poetry of Earth' Questions (Class XII WBCHSE Board) asked by Soumili

1. What is the attitude of poet Arthur Rimbaud in asleep in the valley about futility of war?2. Explain the poetry of earth by Keats as a romantic poem.

1. Throughout the poem,Rimbaud has described a very comforting scenario in which a soldier is sleeping in a lush, green valley where a slow stream flows and the silver in the shine of the leaves around leaves an air of serenity. His head rests in a bed of fern and his feet are among the flowers ; even the humming insects don't disturb his rest. But just when you are about to perceive the beauty in the description, the harshness of death is portrayed in the "two red holes" that denote bullet wounds.
In  just a couple of lines, the poet describes how tragic the fate of war is. It claims all that we have and are capable of. It claims our humanity, conscience along with millions and millions of innocent lives.

2. 'The Poetry of Earth' is all about the perpetuity of a flow that ties together the intertwined seasons, that come one after the other. As you delve deeper into the inner meaning of the poem, you will find that the poet has indeed portrayed a concept this serious with the help of little things linked to nature - soft sounds, a cricket's call, a grasshopper's rest and the timid grass.

So,Where is the Blogger Now?

To be honest and specific,I am sitting in an AC couch in Kalka mail, on my way to Shimla. Last month around this time, I was sitting on 24A 527E on my way to Bangalore. In the next 6 months, if I am not wrong - I will be travelling to Rajasthan, Gujarat, Mumbai and Goa!

Reasons behind this sudden change :-

1. First, and foremost - I have seen people care. Even if I stop writing, even if I am lost, even if I stop replying, people keep on asking and expecting. And there is no driving force stronger than inspiration of that sort.

2. Travelling opens you up right in front of yourself. Things left unsaid, projects undone and done again, midnight smoke, the taste of leftover harissa allover your much loved noodles, lemongrass and infinite spirals of upheveals and stakes so held all throughout your life.

3. I have been extremely busy lately. Somehow I managed to get an internship at the London School of Economics and Political Science this month and I couldn't have gotten busier. Also, my first semester at the university is up around the corner already and its presence is chilling me upto the bones and deeper still.

4. I got the first offer to offer my work as an educational publishing at the end of this year and I am presently working on it every single instance I am able to retain from my (possibly tight) schedule.
